Mr. Zhao is a practicing attorney-at-law and registered patent attorney who graduated from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) with a Master's degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering and awarded a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL).
Mr. Zhao brings years of experience in the field of intellectual property, complemented by prior tenure at a well-known large enterprise where he engaged in software and algorithmic research and development. Since dedicating his career to intellectual property dispute resolution, he has represented numerous renowned domestic and international clients in over dozens of patent infringement litigation, patent invalidation, patent administrative litigation, and patent administrative enforcement matters, as well as in patent application, office action response, and patent reexamination proceedings across the computer, semiconductor, electronic, telecommunications, and mechanical sectors. Through years of practice, Mr. Zhao has accumulated extensive professional experience.
As a dual-qualified attorney (holding both a legal practitioner's license and a patent attorney registration certificate), he specializes particularly in patent invalidation and patent infringement litigation in the telecommunications, electronics, and semiconductor sectors, as well as in software copyright litigation matters. He has represented well-known domestic and international enterprises including BOE (Boe Technology Group), Hanchen Technology, Longgong Group, Datang Mobile, and Canadian Solar (Canadian Solar Inc.), among others, in patent infringement litigation, patent invalidation and related litigation, patent drafting and applications, and patent reexamination proceedings. His representations have achieved high rates of patent allowance and litigation success, substantially safeguarding his clients' interests and rights.
