First, we notarized the suspect website and conducted notarized purchase via the website's listed phone — using the resulting phone number, bank account and other key identifiers to confirm that the transacting party was the core suspect, fixing evidence of both offering for sale and actual sale.
Second, we met the suspect in the production hub, made on-site purchases and tracked the delivery vehicle, identifying three factories suspected of counterfeit production. Surveillance investigation using a large bait order then confirmed the model: "dispersed component manufacturing + central assembly" — direct factory raids would have limited effect.
We pivoted to an "intercept-at-transaction" strategy.
